Great music radio station my son brought back from LA. Lot's of archived shows with just music. Mark's favorite on KCRW is Morning Becomes Electic.

I wish I had speakers at work but they would not be enthused at my using the Real Network's music player anyway. This music is very different - and not easy for me to describe - I like it though. Easy - Alternative - Thoughtful - New .....

Even better is when I did a search for the Pres. Polk biography interview with John Seigenthaler - it also lists links to interviews of other interviews that have the word "Polk" in the transcript. So it links to books about Winfield Scott - Pres. Buchanon, Henry Clay and Franklin Pierce too. A rich resource and treasureful window into history.

Seignethaler read James K. Polk's diaries - first the edited version and then the four volumes - he found them so compelling that he accepted the assignment to write a short biography that this interview discusses. Fascinating to listen to - hard to listen to and not want to hear and read more.
